Fortitude 2013 - Muswell Hill - Full Technical Services

We provided sound - lighting and two stages for the Fortitude Festival , our Logic Sytem ethos ca system was used on the main stage with ND315 and ND218 subs powered by Ram audio amps mixed on a Yamaha LS9 32 with Ethersound stage link. Logic system LM15 monitors were used for stage monitoring.

Lighting for main stage was provided by 4 Robe 575 Colorspots and 2 Robe 250 color washes with Sunstrips as blinders and 16 Led pars as stage wash controlled by an Avolite Pearl control desk.

The second stage pa system was Logic system again but 2 ND215 subs with 2 ML15 cabs powered by Ram Audio 4 channel amp

All technical requirements were provided by us including power distro for catering and generator power over the 3 acre site.

OFCOM publishes decision to extend access to 790 - 862 MHz for PMSE until the end of 2012

OFCOM have announced that they are extending access by three months to the channel range 61 to 69 until the 31st of December 2012. JFMG will continue to co-ordinate the use of channels 61 to 68 during this period.

Changes to UHF Radio Microphone Frequencies

What's happening?
The UK Government has announced that they will be selling off UHF radio mic frequency bands, to bring us in line with the rest of Europe, and to allow mobile phone operators to increase their ability to supply smart phone services.
This will affect all radio microphone users as the sell off includes the frequencies of Channel 69. Instead, Channel 38 will be home to licensed radio microphone users.

How does this affect me?
The result of this sell off is that the majority of radio mics currently in use will become both unusable, and illegal to use from 1st October 2012.
